Seeing all the posts of the 4th of July Algonac Pickerel Tournament and the boat parade, made me a little nostalgic and got me going on this drawing. I'm pretty sure, almost every family living on the St. Clair River had at one time, a 1950-ish, Johnson 5hp Sea-horse outboard engine on one of their boats. The drawing is about twice as big as an actual engine - lol, (36" x 72") but the great thing is it's not leaking oil all over my studio.
