  1. This is a simple and fast recipe for making great tasting Ancho Salsa. It has an excellent slow-building burn, a hint of garlic and just a touch of orange flavor.
  2. Soak ancho peppers in hot water for 15 minutes. This will help lossen the skins and seeds. Remove the stems and seeds.
  3. Place ancho peppers, orange juice, bell peppers, garlic and salt in food processer and rurée for about 2 minutes or until as smooth as apple sause.
  4. You can use this as a topping for fish or chicken as well as served with chips.
  5. Servings: 4 to 6
