Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream sugar and butter. Combine buttermilk and soda. Stir into creamed mixture. Add eggs, vanilla, flour and salt. Beat well. Fold in apples and nuts. Put in greased and floured bread pan (1 large or 2 small).
  2. Topping: 2 Tbsp butter, 2 Tbsp sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon and 2 Tbsp flour. Mix together and sprinkle on top of batter. Press lightly with fork. Bake at 350° F or 45-50 minutes.
