This is just one of over 9,000 recipes we've collected since early 1996. Many of these recipes have been passed down from family member to family member and then shared with friends and then, with Mike Pitzer's Secret Recipes. Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients in a large kettle. Stir well. Boil 15 minutes. Remove spice bag. Put in hot, sterile jars. Seal.
  2. NOTE: For mild relish, use only 1 hot pepper and omit the black pepper. NOTE: Get a book on canning if unsure about sealing and processing.
  3. Servings: 16 pints
