This is just one of over 9,000 recipes we've collected since early 1996. Many of these recipes have been passed down from family member to family member and then shared with friends and then, with Mike Pitzer's Secret Recipes. When it comes to recipes, the real secret is that all of our recipes always have been, and always will be free!

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large saucepan combine all ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes until vegetables are just tender and liquid has thickened slightly.
  2. Spoon into hot sterilized jars, fill to 1/2 inch of the top. Wipe rims with a damp cloth, apply lids. Put in a canning kettle with hot water to cover the jars by 2 inches.
  3. Bring to a boil and process, covered, for 10 minutes. Remove, cool and store in a dark cool place.
  4. Note: When removing jars form a canning kettle, do not set directly on a cold surface such as tile. Place on dry dish towel or bread board.
  5. Servings: 6 cups
