This is just one of over 9,000 recipes we've collected since early 1996. Many of these recipes have been passed down from family member to family member and then shared with friends and then, with Mike Pitzer's Secret Recipes. When it comes to recipes, the real secret is that all of our recipes always have been, and always will be free!

Ingredients:

  • Water
  • Barbecue sauce (any variety)

Directions:

  1. Place ribs on a rack inside a baking pan. Fill pan with about 1 inch of water. Cover pan with plastic wrap, then wrap with aluminum foil (to create a steaming effect); bake at 450° F for 2 hours.
  2. Remove from oven about 10 minutes before ready to serve.
  3. Heat grill to high. Place ribs meat-side down on the hot grill. Baste with barbecue sauce. When you notice the juice in the bone to begin to bubble, turn over and baste the other side of the ribs with barbecue sauce.
